In addition to his parents and Glines 4th Ward members, Daniel's good friend, Craig Long, accompanied Daniel on his first session through the LDS Temple!

Happy 19th Birthday, Daniel!

Gone are the Wisdom Teeth!

The day after Daniel opened his Mission papers, he had all 4 wisdom teeth extracted. It was a fairly simple procedure, no stitches, as all 4 had erupted some time ago! He did get to become friends with 800 mg Ibuprofen and Lortab 5 alternating every 3 hours for pain! But then came Monday, and it was back to work!
Daniel knows what it is like to work hard (I think)! He has been leaving for work for B.H.I. at 6am not to return home until after dark, as the job site is 1 1/2 to 2 hours from Vernal. He has been working M-F, 50-60 hours/week. Nice overtime! To see the types of large panel boxes Daniel works on follow this link: http://www.bhi-ut.com/flash/home.html and click on "Divisions", then "Industrial".
We are busy with driver's license renewal, immunizations, not to mention a clothing list that needs to be addressed! Oh, and did I mention TAXES?!

Washington Kennewick Mission!

Congratulations, Daniel, on your Call to the Washington Kennewick Mission, English speaking! Daniel leaves for the MTC on March 18, 2009 for a period of 3 weeks before his departure to Kennewick. How totally awesome is that! Daniel opened his mail on January 14, 2009 with several of his friends (Craig, Zac, and Ashton) present, as well as his brother and sisters on cell phones and OOVOO (similar to Skype only it does multiple videos at once). His mission area includes Mt. Saint Helens at its northern boundary and Mt. Hood at its southern boundary. Mt. Ranier is just outside the mission borders. The Columbia river which separates the states of Washington and Oregon cuts through the center of the mission area. We traveled through that general area a few years ago to visit Brenda & Tim and family when he was going to med school in Seattle, WA! I remember it as beautiful territory!

Thanksgiving & Christmas at Saratoga Springs!

Here I am back again after a whirlwind Holiday Season! We enjoyed family gatherings at Michelle's in Saratoga Springs over both the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays! She had a houseful with Dale, Daniel and I, Deanna & Weston from Logan, as well as Heather, Richard, Kailer and Meili from Henderson, NV (Vegas)! Sledding on a local hill was the big event of the Christmas weekend! I enjoyed sledding with the kids one evening and tending Meli the next day so Heather could enjoy some time on the hills!
